


















In 1930, the Nakamura family started a sea sponge business in Japan with the intention of creating a unique opportunity for cosmetic tools. Providing innovative excellence and inspiration, the business grew to develop cosmetic applicators including sponges, brushes, and puffs. The expansion of the business was supported by a critical business relationship with Shiseido.
By the 1970’s Nakamura continued to impress the beauty industry with technical application solutions – developing new cosmetic tools and accessories. Technical development led to the growth of the business and the expansion of the product lines.
By the late 1980’s, Nakamura had built a multi-continent empire – a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of cosmetic and skincare applicators, accessories and market ready solutions.
In 1993, Nakamura officially unified the company and incorporated the business to Taiki Group. To better service the global community as well as offer local support, Taiki Group has sales & marketing office in Tokyo, Paris, New York, Shanghai, and Singapore. By joining people from around the globe Taiki Group is able to focus on the mutual goal: Providing superior, unique products and solutions to the marketplace.
In 1996, Mr. Kenji Nakamura, President was award the Imperial Legion of Yellow (dedication by the industry).
In 2005, three factories (Yunos, Seto, Riola) received ISO 1400 for environmental management achievement.
In 2006, Kenji Nakamura transitioned business operations to Koji Nakamura.
In 2007, Yingkou Factory in China received ISO 9100 certification.
In 2009, Eluci International changed its business name to TaikiUSA – to align with other Taiki business.
